Christmas has come to a close here and the children are all in bed completely worn out but, I hope, feeling a sense of happiness after a full, fun day. We were able to balance the day between toys and remembering what the true meaning of Christmas is. There is a overall sense of gratitude for my family. We have been able to enjoy each other and the day to it's fullest.

There is a snow storm right now and the sound of the wind and snow against our windows makes the house feel colder than it is. It is time for bed and with any luck Jack will sleep for several consecutive hours.

On December 1st Jack Norman Hendry was born at Orem Community Hospital at 1:20 pm. He weighed 6 lbs 9 oz. Gwen was amazing throughout the whole day. So far Jack eats...a lot, and sleeps...a lot. We are all assuming that there will be more to him soon, but as for now eating and sleeping about covers it.

Thanksgiving

We are in the final weekend of the pregnancy. Jack will be here Monday...if not sooner.
Yesterday was Thanksgiving and we had a quiet day at home. Emma and Gracie were with their father so they were missed. Kai, Bree and Noa were all very well behaved and enjoyed having a day where they could just relax. We watched the parade in the morning and Gwen and I cooked. I REALLY messed up the green bean casserole by adding what appeared to be bacon bits but I believe they were the by-product of pure evil.
All in all a perfect day. We were able to go get the girls later in the day so it ended with us all at home.
Today the kids made cookies...and here are the pictures to prove it.

Noa. What can you say about this boy? He is the source of much joy and reminds us what life is really all about...spending time in our room because we won't stop tormenting others.

He often shows great wisdom and enjoys making others laugh.
